I'm an integration engineer at The Warehouse Group, building Kafka-based microservices on Kubernetes that move inventory, orders, and loyalty data at scale. Before going deep on engineering I spent years in client-facing roles — onboarding enterprise clients, supporting pre-sales, and leading small teams. I still present quarterly tech reviews to 100+ stakeholders. I do my best work on problems that need both technical rigour and clear communication.

OCT 2024 — PRESENT Integration Engineer · The Warehouse Group
Built a Kafka/Spring Boot microservice processing 320k inventory records per hour. Played a senior role in migrating legacy WSO2 integrations to Spring Boot — acting as deputy to the tech lead, contributing to architecture decisions, reviewing pull requests for contractors and internal team members, and delivering $100k NZD in annual licensing savings. Also consolidated six services into one, simplifying maintenance and clearing out a long tail of bugs. Built an automated test suite to replace manual QA processes. Improved observability across order management with Kibana and New Relic. Present quarterly tech reviews to 100+ stakeholders.
